comaunite No idea why at first I only bought a single track off of this. Upon returning to the album after a while, I realized that was stupid, because the album is great!
Well, that's a little more funding for the artist then! Thanks for your music. Favorite track: After the Fall.

Roy Santa Cruz I've been a huge Chelsea Wolfe fan since The Grime and the Glow. This is a wildly different sound for her, yet its strikingly familiar. I love that she has matured her sound, and continues to evolve. This is by far her best release.

Standout tracks: Iron Moon, After the Fall, Simple Death Favorite track: Simple Death.

Michael Keerdo-Dawson This may not be as vivid as "Pain is Beauty", lacking the same quantity of songs which can stand alone, it compensates us for that deficiency in a reflective fashion. This is Chelsea Wolfe's most congruous album to date, the songs are all interdependent, you can no more remove one of them than you could an arm or a leg from your own body. The overall result is a visceral feeling of submergence into a great cavernous abyss (as the title suggests). Marvellous album from an extraordinary talent. Favorite track: Iron Moon.
